Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent plant availability through flexible staffing and operational readiness.
• Operate overhead cranes in compliance with safety and operational specifications.
• Prepare operate and safely tap electric arc furnaces to achieve optimal melting and production outcomes.
• Manage ladle furnace operations to properly prepare metal charges for continuous casting.
• Inspect refractory linings and prepare ladles for tapping ensuring structural integrity and safety.
• Prepare casting strands at the continuous casting line according to established procedures.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in steel production metalworking rolling mills or foundry operations
• Demonstrated knowledge of steel manufacturing processes and equipment operation
