Job summary

A leading logistics provider in Dubai is seeking an experienced driver for Heavy-duty trailers. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting vehicles before delivery, adhering to traffic and safety norms, and ensuring superior customer service. Required qualifications include a High School education and a valid No.3 & No.4 UAE Driving License. The role demands 5+ years of driving experience and the ability to work in a multicultural environment, with effective communication skills in English, Arabic, or Hindi.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in driving of Heavy-duty trailers.
• Must have both No.3 & No.4 Valid UAE Driving License.
• Ability to work under stress and adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all vehicles before delivery/movement.
• Handle new vehicles with care to reduce repair costs.
• Follow traffic rules and road safety norms.

Skills

Job description

• To inspect all the vehicles before start of delivery/movement.
• Proper care in handling of new vehicles – Reduction of repair costs and delays.
• Due care in loading / unloading of vehicles on the Car carriers to avoid transit damages – Safety Norms.

To follow the delivery procedure – Vehicle movement record.

Equipment Care:

• To operate company vehicle with due care & avoid damages – Minimum maintenance cost.

To follow Traffic rules & Road safety norms– To avoid road accident & maintain company image.

Communications:

To be able to communicate effectively with the customers & showrooms on the delivery issues.

Educational Qualification

High School.

Work Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in driving of Heavy-duty trailers.
• Must have both No.3 & No.4 Valid UAE Driving License.
• Interpersonal relations & be able to work in multicultural environment.
• Ability to work under stress & adaptation to change. Willing to work in any shift & for long hours, if required.
• Able to communicate effectively via oral media Oral communication skills – English/Arabic/Hindi
• Understands the importance of superior Customer Service.
