Job description

Health and Safety Manager | AFGRE | Dubai

This role is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of HSE services within AFGRE - DFC, maintaining safe operations, and addressing HSE concerns promptly with Senior Management.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate with AFGRE management to ensure understanding of DFC HSE requirements at all levels.
  • Plan, direct, and supervise HSE functions within DFC.
  • Establish and implement a HSE management system.
  • Maintain AFGRE Lesson Learned and Toolbox Talks to ensure staff understanding.
  • Develop and manage Health & Safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance across DFC.
  • Collaborate with authorities, insurance companies, suppliers, and contractors to ensure safety compliance and resolve HSE matters.

Technical & Professional:

  • Promote best practices through benchmarking and communicate results to management.
  • Establish KPIs for HSE, monitor trends, identify root causes, and implement improvements.
  • Maintain all HSE records, both electronic and hard copy.

Budget Control: Prepare and monitor HSE expenses across all SPV.

Contract Management: Manage contracts with HSE service providers in coordination with FM, Finance, and Commercial departments, ensuring expenses are tracked.

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

  • OHSS / NEBOSH Diploma.
  • Fluent in English.
  • HSE knowledge and experience in a dynamic city environment.

Minimum Experience:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management or the engineering industry.
