Job description
Overview

Black & Grey HR is recruiting a Head of Production for a leading marble and stone manufacturer with a state-of-the-art facility in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in stone processing and factory operations with the ability to lead end-to-end production, optimize plant efficiency and maintain uncompromising quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Direct and oversee the complete production cycle: block receiving, slab cutting (gang saws, block cutters), polishing, resin treatment, edge profiling, finishing and site installation.
  • Manage multi-disciplinary production teams across factory and field operations, ensuring adherence to production targets and quality benchmarks.
  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers and clients to align factory output with project timelines and specifications.
  • Develop and monitor production plans, manpower schedules and preventive maintenance programs for equipment (CNC machines, polishing lines, bridge cutters, water jet machines, etc.).
  • Implement and enforce quality control systems, HSE standards and ISO procedures to ensure compliance with international certifications.
  • Track and analyze production KPIs (yield, rejection rates, downtime, throughput) and drive continuous process improvement.
  • Manage raw material handling, inventory control and logistics coordination for imported marble blocks and slabs.
  • Lead cost-optimization initiatives while safeguarding product integrity and premium craftsmanship.
