About the Role
As Head of Insights youll lead our product analytics function and oversee user research. Your primary focus will be on driving deep strategic insights from data that inform product decisions shape our roadmap and ultimately improve learner outcomes. This is a handson leadership role where youll coach a small but mighty analytics team and work crossfunctionally with product managers designers and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop our product analytics team ensuring delivery of highimpact actionable insights.
  • Oversee the user research function embedding customer insights throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Build and maintain dashboards KPIs and data infrastructure to support selfserve and strategic analytics.
  • Design and evaluate experiments and causal analyses that inform product decisions and strategy.
  • Define and maintain a consistent tracking and event taxonomy across the product.
  • Partner with crossfunctional teams to define success metrics and measurement plans.
  • Translate data and user research into clear compelling narratives that influence stakeholders.
  • Identifies new opportunities for leveraging data.
  • Forecasting trends interpreting complex data and communicating actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Create scalable processes for insight delivery balancing adhoc needs with longterm learning goals.
  • Coach and grow talent across analytics and research disciplines.
  • Champion a culture of analytics promoting literacy across departments and advocating for robust data governance practices.
  • Be a champion of datainformed decision making across the entire organization.

Qualifications :

MustHave Skills:

  • 6 years in product analytics data science or insights in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Track record of influencing product or business decisions through proactive insights.
  • Strong command of SQL and fluency in at least one analytical language (e.g. Python or R).
  • Handson experience with product analytics tools (e.g. Mixpanel Amplitude Looker GA).
  • Solid understanding of user research methodologies (e.g. interviews usability tests surveys).
  • Experience leading a team and mentoring junior analysts or researchers.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skillstranslating complexity into clarity.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior ownership of both analytics and user research functions.
  • Experience working in lowvolume highcomplexity environments (e.g. B2B vs. B2C).
  • Familiarity with data pipeline tools (e.g. dbt BigQuery Segment).
