GRS Recruitment is working with a fast‑scaling tech brand operating across AdTech, MarTech, ConTech, SaaS, and consumer utility apps. We are assisting this global brand in building a world‑class finance function to support this growth and are seeking a Head of Finance with strong FP&A, strategic finance, and M&A capabilities. The Head of Finance will serve as the financial backbone of the incubator, overseeing FP&A, accounting governance, investor‑grade reporting, audit readiness, and capital strategy. This role combines hands‑on financial control with a strategic partnership with the Partner and is ideal for someone who has operated in fast‑paced product studios, tech startups, or global multi‑entity environments. This role has a clear path toward CFO for the portfolio companies and the broader studio. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Core Financial Management

• Build and maintain integrated 3‑statement financial models, DCFs, scenario analyses, and cap‑table simulations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across multiple venture entities.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and working‑capital optimization.
• Ensure accurate and timely GAAP/IFRS accounting, month‑end close, revenue recognition, accruals, and cost allocation.
• Oversee internal controls, financial systems, and automation (Excel, Anaplan, or similar).

Strategic Partner to the Partner

• Shape business models across app studios, SaaS products, and new incubations.
• Evaluate unit economics, CAC/LTV, payback modeling, monetization, and scalability.
• Develop scenario plans for best/worst/base cases and support strategic decision‑making.
• Design studio‑wide KPIs and dashboards, identify leading indicators of product and financial performance.

Compliance, Governance & Structuring

• Ensure compliance of international entities.
• Prepare for and manage external/internal audits, board reviews, and investor diligence.
• Support global entity structuring, and multi‑LLC setups.

Capital Strategy & M&A

• Contribute to the app‑studio acquisition flywheel – help evaluate, and financial‑model potential deals.
• Conduct valuations, synergy analyses, and post‑acquisition KPIs.

Leadership & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Present insights to Partners and the executive team with executive‑ready clarity.
• Mentor junior finance talent as needed over time.
• Work with relevant stakeholders to align financial discipline.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Must have previous experience within App Ecosystem Venture Builder companies in a Senior Finance position.
• Extensive experience in Finance, FP&A, Controlling, or Strategic Finance.
• Mastery in financial modelling.
• Excellent command of budgeting, forecasting, and operational finance across complex portfolios.
• Strong accounting fundamentals (GAAP/IFRS).
• Experience with multi‑entity, multi‑currency global operations.
• Deep understanding of unit economics for digital products and mobile apps.
• Ability to define and operationalize KPIs, dashboards, and performance frameworks.
• Strong business judgment and ability to partner closely with a founder/Partner.
• Experience in acquisitions and exits.
• Comfort performing due diligence, valuations, and deal execution.
• Experience in high‑volume utility apps, SaaS, or consumer tech is highly preferred.
• Ability to navigate the pace and constraints of lean startups as well as enterprise‑grade governance.
• Exceptional communication; executive presence; ability to simplify complexity.
• Creative problem solver able to design financial strategies for product studios.
• Entrepreneurial mindset comfortable in environments with ambiguity, speed, and innovation.
