Overview

If you are passionate about people and thrive on delivering exceptional service, the Guest Relations Officer role places you at the center of memorable guest journeys.

At InterContinental Abu Dhabi, we believe in creating memorable experiences through genuine hospitality. We are currently looking for a passionate and service-oriented Guest Relations Officer to join our Front Office team and deliver exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly do:

  • Welcome guests warmly and ensure a smooth check-in and check-out experience
  • Act as the main point of contact for guest requests, inquiries, and feedback
  • Build strong relationships with guests, anticipating and personalizing their needs
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and ensure timely resolution in line with brand standards
  • Coordinate closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Assist VIP guests and ensure all preferences and special requests are well communicated and fulfilled
  • Maintain accurate guest profiles and records in the system
  • Promote hotel services, facilities, and outlets to enhance guest satisfaction
  • Uphold InterContinental brand standards, grooming, and service excellence at all times
What we need from you
  • Previous experience in a similar Guest Relations or Front Office role within a luxury or upscale hotel
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a guest-first mindset
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage
  • Knowledge of Opera or similar PMS is preferred
