We are seeking a Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial strategy and governance of a diversified international holding company with operations across the Middle East, Asia, and the CIS. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role that requires both strategic vision and strong operational execution.

As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CFO will manage complex, multi-jurisdictional financial operations, ensure financial compliance and stability, and drive long-term value creation. The role demands a proactive mindset, excellent multitasking abilities, and the capacity to operate independently in a dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and implement the Groups financial strategy to support sustainable growth, profitability, and effective risk management across various business units and jurisdictions.
  • Multi-Jurisdictional Oversight: Oversee and align financial operations across diverse legal and tax environments, ensuring full compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Tax & Corporate Structure Expertise: Provide deep tax planning and advisory support for complex corporate and ownership structures. A thorough understanding of corporate taxation in Russia, UAE, Cyprus, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and the EU is essential.
  • Capital Management & Investment Strategy: Lead capital allocation, liquidity management, and financial structuring to optimize capital efficiency and funding.
  • Financial Performance & Risk Management: Drive budgeting, forecasting, and risk assessment using advanced analytics and reporting tools.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS and EU regulations, including multi-entity consolidation. Strong working knowledge of DAC6 and other EU corporate reporting obligations is required.
  • Operational Excellence & Cost Optimization: Identify and implement strategies to improve cost efficiency, streamline financial processes, and enhance operational agility.
  • Banking & Investor Relations: Establish and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Technology & Process Optimization: Lead the financial digital transformation agenda, including ERP implementation and automation of reporting processes.
  • Board Engagement: Serve as a strategic advisor to shareholders and the Board, delivering clear, data-driven financial insights and recommendations.
Key Qualifications & Experience
  • Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CFAare preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of financial leadership experience, including within holding companies, investment structures, or Family Offices, where the focus is on capital management rather than operational business.
  • Proven track record in corporate finance, international tax planning, and financial structuring.
  • Practical expertise in DAC6 reporting requirements and broader EU financial disclosure regulations.
  • Strong practical knowledge of taxation across multiple jurisdictions, particularly in Russia, UAE, Cyprus, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and the EU.
  • Experience in managing complex group consolidations and ensuring cross-border regulatory compliance.
  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and board-level decision-making.
  • Fluency in English and Russian is mandatory; proficiency in Arabic or other CIS languages is an advantage.
  • Highly self-driven, with excellent multitasking skills and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
