Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar capacity in luxury hotels.
• Comfortable communicating in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in month-end closing and production of monthly accounts.
• Supervise and train the Finance team.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations.

What You'll Do

• As the General Accountant you will assist the Assistant Director of Finance in the supervision training and oversight of the Finance team month-end closing production of monthly management accounts and analysis and general ledger reconciliation.

• You will be responsible to provide support in the policing of adoption of appropriate working practices based on Uniform System and IFRS.
• Prepares monthly balance sheet reconciliations including bank reconciliations and other government statutory reporting and requirements.
• You will have sound knowledge and experience on Residence Accounting Operations and understanding RERA regulations.
• The items shared are the essence of a day in the life of a General Accountant but well make sure you are provided with specifics on how we care for our hotel.
• You will be joining a dedicated beach team and will report directly to the Beach Club Management team.
• Along with your main duties you may be asked to complete other tasks as and when necessary and reasonably required.
• You may on occasion be required to adjust your hours of work to cover the beach club needs.
• You acknowledge that working in beach club operations involves exposure to heat and sun operating under pressure and requires standing and walking for long periods of time.
