Job Summary
The Foreman for Infrastructure (Roads, Utilities, Bridges & Marine) will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction projects related to roads, utilities, bridges, and marine structures.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and deadlines.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor and report on project progress, including budgetary constraints and quality control.
- Train and mentor junior staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Foreman in infrastructure construction, specifically roads, utilities, bridges, and marine projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety guidelines.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings.
- Certification in construction management or a related field is preferred.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions and terrains.
