The E&I Foreman reports to the General Foreman (E&I) assigned to the Project. He uses his discretion in establishing short‑term priorities and objectives including allocation of workforce, tools and equipment. Work is subject to review by his Superior.
Responsibilities
Principal Accountabilities:
- Direct control of up to 40 productive personnel and up to 4 supervisory personnel such as Chargehands and Sr. Technicians.
- Supervise & control the productivity and efficiency of the construction crew(s) assigned to him.
- Act as liaison with the E&I General Foreman to ensure timely availability of installation work procedures, approved construction drawings, project material and equipment necessary for execution of the works.
- Report to the E&I General Foreman on the physical progress measurements achieved on a weekly basis.
- Coordinate site liaison with other departments, sections and subcontractors to ensure smooth performance of the E&I works.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications & Certifications:
- Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation or E&C from an accredited university (full time).
Relevant Experience:
- Function‑specific experience.
- Construction Operations Management.
Industry Related Experience:
- Oil and Gas / Offshore Operations.
- Oil and Gas / Site Construction.
Years of Experience:
- 8 years of experience in installation of electrical, instrumentation and telecom equipment in the Oil & Gas Industry.
