• Inspect work performed to ensure it meets specifications and standards.

Job description

To carry out activities according to instruction from Supervisor/Engineer and responsible for Job distribution & job allocation to workers on sites so as to maximize productivity and efficiency to contribute and meet out activities timelines at site.

Responsibilities

Strategic:

• Ensure that the supervisor's work specifications are adhered to in all construction works.
• Advises his supervisor to take decisions to ensure smooth progress of site/projects so as to avoid any detrimental effect on site functioning, both in term of continuity of work and reputation.

Operational:

• To prepare work plan and schedule.
• Assign work/Job to workers and monitor progress on day to day basis.
• Inspect work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards.
• Ensure workers under his control follow work instruction/standards to achieve desired Quality.
• Ensures that all the subordinates and contractors are aware of safe working practices and takes necessary precautions in hazardous work environment.
• Coordinate with Supervisor to ensure availability of manpower, material machineries and other resources required to perform site activities.
• Preparing and submitting daily progress report to supervisor/Site engineer.

People Management:

• Ensures that all the subordinates and contractors are aware of safe working practices and takes necessary precautions in hazardous work environment.
• Ensure workers under his control follow work instruction/standards to achieve desired Quality.

Product/Process Improvement:

• Involves in troubleshooting, root cause analysis of the complex range of activities.
• Frequent Contact /communication with Supervisor, coordinators and worker/Technician working under control to discuss work schedules, agrees on priorities and resolve problem area.

Experience:

• PREFERRED : Relevant Experience in UAE or Gulf preferred.
