Job summary

Responsibilities
  • Consistently offer professional friendly warm and engaging service to Guests.
  • Set up banquet rooms according to function requirements ensuring attention to detail in table settings linens glassware and equipment.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of banquet events ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of all banquet menus buffet setups and bar service options.
  • Monitor and respond to Guest needs during events resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
  • Participate in preevent briefings to understand the event schedule and expectations.
  • Work closely with the Banquet Manager kitchen team and other departments to ensure seamless service.
  • Ensure all linens are counted and handled properly at the end of shifts.
  • Maintain and organize banquet equipment reporting any damage or shortages to the Banquet Manager.
  • Handle Guest feedback and concerns efficiently escalating issues to the Banquet Manager when necessary.
  • Attend preshift weekly and monthly meetings to enhance service standards and continuously improve the Guest experience.
