Job summary

A premier firefighting services provider is looking for a skilled Fireman/Fire Fighter to join their team offshore in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience, emergency medical training, and significant knowledge of safety regulations. Responsibilities include operating safety equipment during emergencies, maintaining firefighting gear, and attending incidents as per mutual aid agreements. A UAE driving license and ability to communicate in English are required for this role.

Qualifications

• 5 years of relevant experience as a professional firefighter.
• Must have emergency medical care training and certifications.
• UAE Driving License (both heavy and light vehicle preferable).

Responsibilities

• Operate safety equipment when responding to incidents.
• Maintain firefighting equipment and safety gear.
• Attend incidents as part of mutual aid agreements.

About the job Fireman/Fire Fighter - Offshore - Abu Dhabi _ UAE

Must obtained emergency medical care training courses and certificates.

UAE Driving Licence (Both Heavy & Light Vehicle Preferable).

• 5 years of relevant experience as professional fire fighter. (Preferably in Airport, Port & Offshore)
• Preferable work experience in UAE
• Responsible to operate all safety equipment, when asked to attend incidents occurring from Oil, Toxic gas release, fires etc, responding to fire alarms quickly and fire rescue call on the site
• Maintain good operational condition of firefighting equipment, safety equipment and PPE, etc. Operate firefighting and rescuing equipment such as aerial ladders, axes, fire hoses etc
• By direction of Safety foreman/Chief fireman he has to attend the site with required vehicles and equipments. They have to arrange doctor, nurse and special fire brigade as per site situation by informing the safety foreman.
• Carry out firefighting and fire safety rescue activities in emergency period, daily safety patrol and heliport standby.
• Responsible to attend incidents as part of a mutual aid agreement or by pre-arrangement, and they have to maintain all firefighting equipments in good working condition
• Good knowledge of local and international legislation and regulations related work.
• Expert knowledge and skill of firefighting, rescue and first aids
• Expert knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Expert knowledge of all OH&S and other relevant safety regulations and standards
• Able to communicate in English properly
