We are seeking an experienced FINIQ Consultant to support and enhance a leading bank’s Wealth Management and Trading platforms. The role involves end-to-end implementation, integration, and optimisation of the FinIQ Wealth Management Suite, working closely with business, technology, and integration teams to deliver stable, scalable, and secure solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support end-to-end solutions using the FinIQ Wealth Management Suite.
- Handle the complete Trade Life Cycle across wealth and investment products.
- Work on API integrations with upstream and downstream banking systems.
- Develop and optimise complex SQL queries for reporting, reconciliation, and performance.
- Support log analysis, monitoring, and observability using log aggregation tools.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on OpenShift, containers, and pods.
- Ensure secure integrations using Identity Providers (IDPs) and authentication mechanisms.
- Work with event-driven architectures and REST-based services.
- Follow best practices in coding standards, security, unit testing, and documentation.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and delivery planning.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- Minimum 6 years of hands‑on experience with FinIQ (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of FinIQ architecture and modules, with front‑to‑back implementation experience.
- Proven experience in end-to-end FinIQ implementations.
- Solid experience with Trade Life Cycle Management.
- Expertise in SQL and SQL-based databases.
- Strong understanding of wealth products such as bonds, mutual funds, and equities.
- Hands‑on experience with Git (branching, merging, conflict resolution).
- Experience with REST APIs and system integrations.
- Familiarity with data automation tools such as Apache NiFi.
- Understanding of OpenShift, containerisation, and Kubernetes concepts.
Preferred / Good‑to‑Have Skills
- Experience with Asset Management and Investment Banking platforms.
- Working knowledge of industry protocols such as FIX, EMSX, and TSOX.
- Exposure to Wealth Management and Trading Systems such as Advent, SAXO, SWIFT, Bloomberg, or Reuters.
- Understanding of observability, monitoring, and logging frameworks.
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or FinTech enterprise environments.
Education
- Degree or Postgraduate qualification in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent relevant industry experience).
