Job Description
We are seeking an experienced FCC PMO Manager / Senior Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) projects, regulatory remediation programmes, and supervisory actions. The role will play a critical part in ensuring delivery against regulatory commitments while maintaining strong governance, transparency, and stakeholder alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end delivery of FCC projects, programmes, supervisory actions, and management commitments.
- Establish and maintain robust PMO governance frameworks for FCC initiatives, including project plans, milestones, dependencies, and risk registers.
- Ensure adherence to the Bank’s project management standards and regulatory change governance requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, RAID logs, and delivery dashboards across multiple FCC workstreams.
- Monitor progress against milestones, budgets, and resource plans; proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks and delays.
- Produce clear and concise senior management, steering committee, and regulatory reporting, including status updates, key issues, and delivery risks.
- Track and evidence closure of regulatory findings, management actions, and remediation items required for CBUAE validation.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory responses, progress updates, remediation evidence packs, and attestations.
- Act as the central coordination point between Compliance, FCC, IT, Operations, Risk, Internal Audit, and Business teams.
- Manage interdependencies across multiple workstreams, including policy, process, technology, data, and people.
- Support the management of external vendors and consultants delivering FCC initiatives.
- Manage scope changes, prioritisation decisions, and delivery trade-offs in line with regulatory deadlines and the Bank’s risk appetite.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet defined quality standards and are suitable for regulatory scrutiny.
- Support internal quality assurance, independent testing, and audit reviews of FCC programmes.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, audit trails, and evidence repositories.
- Support FCC steering committees, regulatory forums, and senior management meetings, including agenda preparation and action tracking.
Required Knowledge & Skills
- Strong experience managing complex FCC or regulatory change programmes within a banking or regulated environment.
- Solid understanding of AML/CFT, FCC frameworks, and regulatory remediation expectations.
- Experience working with regulators and supporting supervisory actions and audits.
- Excellent stakeholder management, organisation, and communication skills.
