Job summary

A leading financial services company in Dubai is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial consolidation and reporting activities. In this role, you will prepare consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS, assist in budget preparation, and conduct financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience, a degree in Finance or Accounting, and strong analytical skills. A competitive salary based on experience is offered.

About the Company

The Financial Analyst supports the financial consolidation and reporting activities of Innovo Group. The role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements, management reports, and compliance with IFRS standards. This role collaborates closely with business unit finance teams to maintain consistent reporting practices, assist in audits, and support continuous improvements in financial reporting processes.

About the Role

The Financial Analyst will be involved in various financial reporting, planning, and analysis activities to support the overall financial health of Innovo Group.

Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
  • Prepare monthly management reports and presentations (Execom, BOD and AC), ensuring consistency and accuracy of data.
  • Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS, including consolidation adjustments, eliminations, intercompany reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Support the development and rollout of the Group financial reporting calendar.
  • Review and verify financial data submissions from business units for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain the Group Chart of Accounts (GCOA) and support mapping updates from local entities.
  • Coordinate with auditors and prepare required schedules and supporting documents for statutory audits.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining financial reporting templates for consistent use across the Group.
  • Lead and support the consolidation of year-end financials, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance.
Planning & Forecasting
  • Assist in preparing standard templates to support the budget-setting process.
  • Prepare the consolidated 5-year business plan and annual Group budget.
  • Conduct variance analysis on budgets versus actuals and provide clear explanations to management.
Financial Analysis support
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analysis and reports as required.
  • Support internal and external benchmarking, cost analysis and productivity assessments.
  • Conduct evaluations and validations of new and existing investments, including financial modelling and feasibility assessments.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial consolidation and reporting roles.
  • Familiarity with IFRS standards and reporting requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively across departments.
  • Fluency in English (oral and written).
