Job Overview

Emirates Talent Solution is hiring a Finance Manager for a leading property development and real estate company based in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will possess 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the real estate sector.

This role requires deep expertise in financial strategy, investment analysis, cash flow management, and compliance with UAE financial regulations. The Finance Manager will play a key role in strategic decision-making, business growth, and profitability optimization, directly supporting senior leadership in shaping the companys financial direction.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Financial Planning & Analysis

• Develop and implement long-term financial strategies to support business growth and profitability.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for property development and brokerage operations.
• Analyze financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations to management.
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, profit & loss, and cash flow reports.
• Maintain full compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT, and all relevant financial regulations.
• Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring transparency and adherence to statutory requirements.

Cash Flow & Investment Management

• Manage cash flow planning and forecasting to support ongoing operations, acquisitions, and new developments.
• Develop and execute investment and capital allocation strategies for maximum financial returns.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions, overseeing loans, financing, and treasury operations.
• Implement cost optimization initiatives to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Identify and monitor financial and market risks related to real estate transactions and investments.
• Establish and enforce risk management frameworks to safeguard company assets and capital.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, manage, and mentor the finance department, fostering accountability and performance excellence.
• Train finance teams on best practices, compliance standards, and financial reporting protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align financial goals with business objectives.

Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure adherence to UAE VAT, corporate tax, and all real estate financial regulations.
• Oversee tax filings, audits, and coordinate with consultants and regulatory bodies.
• Stay informed on changes in tax and financial laws affecting the business.

Process Improvement & Financial Systems

• Strengthen financial policies, systems, and internal controls for greater accuracy and efficiency.
• Lead implementation or enhancement of ERP/accounting systems for real-time financial management.
• Ensure the integrity and security of all financial data and records.

Key RequirementsQualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or CMA (qualified or part-qualified preferred).

Experience

• Minimum 10+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
• At least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role within property development or real estate.
