Job Objectives
To manage, develop, update, and implement all financial procedures of the organization and its subsidiaries in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, government policies, and internal policies in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative Role
- Contribute to the preparation of financial policies and procedures and provide recommendations on how to implement them in alignment with the organization’s and its subsidiaries’ financial activities.
- Participate with the department manager in the selection and recruitment of financial staff.
- Cooperate with the department manager in orienting and onboarding newly appointed financial employees.
- Ensure compliance with approved standards and prepare periodic reports to avoid or address errors and deficiencies.
- Submit required reports related to departmental work and performance to the Finance Director, receive directives, and act accordingly.
Regulatory Role
- Ensure compliance with approved regulations, systems, procedures, rules, and work methods adopted by the organization and its subsidiaries.
- Ensure that all financial department employees comply with approved systems, rules, and procedures.
- Adhere to the approved delegation of authorities and powers and act accordingly.
Functional Role
- Prepare and develop administrative financial policies and procedures in line with approved financial policies and procedures, and in compliance with government policies applied in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, taking into account the nature of the organization and its subsidiaries.
- Supervise adherence to financial and accounting policies issued by the Department of Finance – Abu Dhabi and other concerned entities related to financial and accounting affairs.
- Supervise the preparation of the organization’s and its subsidiaries’ budgets, ensure the accuracy of requested figures, and confirm alignment with submitted requirements.
- Supervise the monitoring of current expenditures throughout the year to ensure they do not exceed the approved budget, coordinate with departments to enable optimal use of allocated financial resources, and monitor the financial status of each department.
- Supervise the preparation of specialized financial reports and ensure they are delivered on time with the required quality in accordance with best practices and standards.
- Supervise the review of all incoming and outgoing financial reports to ensure their accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and submit reports to the direct manager regarding variances, expenditures, revenues, and the financial position of the organization and its subsidiaries.

- Supervise purchase requests through the approved information system and ensure compliance with applicable legal rules and procedures, in coordination with concerned entities.
- Supervise the use and implementation of the electronic financial system, if applicable, for the organization and its subsidiaries.
- Coordinate with specialists or companies regarding internal audit and the preparation of the annual financial report.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the direct supervisor.
