Fleet Executive

Role Overview:

The Fleet Executive will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing fleet operations across the UAE. This includes coordinating middle mile and last mile logistics, ensuring compliance with UAE road regulations across all emirates, managing vendor relationships, and supporting cost control initiatives.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Operations & Logistics

  • Coordinate daily fleet activities including vehicle dispatch, routing, and scheduling.
  • Support middle mile and last mile delivery operations ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Monitor vehicle availability, utilization, and maintenance schedules.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure fleet operations comply with UAE road laws and transport regulations across all emirates.
  • Stay updated on emirate-specific restrictions such as truck movement timings, ADAS requirements, and licensing norms.
  • Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory reporting.
  • Liaise with external vendors for vehicle leasing, maintenance, and fuel supply.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to ensure cost-effective fleet operations.
  • Track and analyze fleet-related expenses including fuel, maintenance, and tolls.
  • Use fleet management software to monitor vehicle performance, route optimization, and driver behavior.
  • Generate reports on fleet KPIs, cost metrics, and delivery SLAs.
  • Support digital compliance initiatives including telematics and AI-based driver monitoring systems.

Safety & Maintenance

  • Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
  • Enforce safety protocols and support driver training programs.
  • Monitor ADAS systems and ensure vehicles meet legal safety standards.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with logistics, warehouse, and customer service teams to align fleet operations with business goals.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5–6 years of experience in fleet coordination or logistics operations.
  • Strong understanding of UAE transport laws and emirate-specific regulations.
  • Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Valid UAE driving license preferred.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Fleet Management Certification
  • Logistics & Transport Certification (CILT)
  • ADAS Compliance or Defensive Driving Training
