Job Title: Executive Chef

Location: Umm-al-Qaiwain

Salary: 1500 AED per month

We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. This is a great opportunity for a passionate individual who is eager to take on new challenges in a fast-paced environment. We are ready to consider a foreigner for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Create and implement menus that adhere to the restaurant’s standards, as well as the local tastes and preferences
  • Develop recipes for new dishes as needed
  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and are cooked correctly and presented attractively
  • Ensure that all food items are fresh, of the highest quality, and meet health codes
  • Inspect food deliveries to ensure quality standards are met
  • Supervise kitchen staff in their daily tasks, including recipe preparation, cleaning, proper storage of foods, and other related duties
  • Train staff in preparation techniques, safety protocols, kitchen sanitation practices, menu items etc.
  • Maintain budgeted costs through efficient use of supplies and materials
  • Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and order items when necessary
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a similar environment preferred but not essential
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to manage a team effectively
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
