Overview

Position Summary: We are looking for an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to join the team at Khalifah A City. As Executive Chef, you will be responsible for leading, managing and developing the culinary team. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and to the highest standard of quality. You will also be responsible for managing the budget, overseeing inventory and ordering supplies, as well as creating new menus that reflect current trends and customer feedback.

Responsibilities
  • The Executive Chef will be expected to create and maintain high standards of food preparation within the kitchen.
  • This includes ensuring proper food safety practices are followed, such as proper storage techniques, use of correct ingredients, accurate portioning of dishes and adhering to health department regulations.
  • You will also create weekly specials, develop new recipes and menu items in order to keep customers interested in our offerings.
  • In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of organization within the kitchen staff by delegating tasks effectively and providing ongoing training where necessary.
Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate for this position should possess a degree or certification in Culinary Arts or related field along with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a professional kitchen setting.
  • You must have excellent communication skills as well as strong leadership abilities.
  • In addition, you should have an up-to-date knowledge of current culinary trends and experience with budgeting/cost control procedures.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is also essential for this role.
Compensation

We are offering a salary of 1100 per month for this position along with an opportunity to grow professionally within our organization. We are also open to considering an immigrant candidate for this role should they meet all other qualifications listed above.
