Executive Chef job vacancy in El-Ain UAE

El-Ain is looking to hire an Executive Chef to join our team. The Executive Chef will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our kitchen and overseeing the preparation and presentation of all food items. The ideal candidate will have excellent culinary skills, a passion for creating new dishes, and experience in leading kitchen staff.

Responsibilities
  • Develop menus and recipes in collaboration with the other chefs on the team
  • Oversee all food preparation, presentation, and service in the kitchen
  • Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing guidance to ensure that all dishes are prepared according to established standards
  • Ensure that all health regulations are followed in the kitchen
  • Establish ordering systems for food supplies, ingredients, and other necessary items
  • Monitor food cost and waste while ensuring quality standards are met
  • Manage inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Train new chefs as needed
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a restaurant or hotel setting
  • Culinary school degree or equivalent formal training preferred
  • Leadership skills with the ability to delegate tasks appropriately and motivate staff members
  • Excellent knowledge of cooking techniques and procedures as well as nutrition standards
  • Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
  • Knowledge of safety regulations related to food preparation
