Role Overview

The role is to prepare accurate cost assessments competitive bids and detailed pricing for projects. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can leverage estimation tools and market insights to ensure precision and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for civil fit-out and multi-disciplinary construction projects.
• Analyze project specifications drawings and BOQs to determine material labor and equipment requirements.
• Develop competitive tender submissions and pricing strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Coordinate with procurement and planning teams to ensure cost optimization and resource alignment.
• Implement digital estimation tools and maintain updated cost databases.
• Conduct risk analysis and identify cost-saving opportunities during the bidding process.
• Ensure compliance with company policies contractual obligations and UAE regulations.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns cash flow forecasts and value engineering proposals.
• Monitor market trends material prices and labor rates to maintain competitive advantage.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• Professional certification (MRICS or equivalent) preferred.
• 10 years of experience in estimation within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of market rates materials and labor costs.
• Proficiency in estimation software and MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
• Experience in tendering for large-scale civil and fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and local authority requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines.
