Job Overview

A private family based in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a highly capable, experienced, and trustworthy married couple to manage and support the daily personal and household needs of two elderly individuals. The role requires a seamless combination of hands‑on care, discreet professional service, estate management, and international coordination. The couple will be responsible for overseeing a network of residences across the UAE and internationally, ensuring complete logistical, operational, and personal support. The ideal couple is discreet, professional, multilingual, loyal, and physically fit, with significant prior experience in private households. Cultural sensitivity, ability to manage multicultural staff, and adaptability to a changing schedule are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily operations of multiple properties across UAE, Europe, and other locations.
  • Supervise and train domestic staff: housekeepers, chefs, gardeners, drivers, laundresses, etc.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, service, organization, and presentation across all residences.
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs and inspections to identify maintenance or operational needs.
  • Plan and manage household budgets, vendor contracts, and inventory.
  • Liaise with service providers for technical maintenance, procurement, and repairs.
  • Oversee kitchen operations: meal planning, dietary needs, quality control, and seasonal adjustments.
  • Coordinate and support formal dinners, events, and guest stays.
  • Manage travel schedules, seasonal home openings/closings, and ensure property readiness before arrivals.
  • Handle confidential information with utmost discretion.
  • Support the female principal with daily routines and comfort.
Requirements
  • Bachelor/Diploma in Hospitality, Business Administration, Travel and Tourism, Healthcare or Private Service.
  • Minimum 10 years as an estate manager or chief housekeeper in a multi-residence household.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multicultural teams.
  • Strong administrative and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication.
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are valued.
  • Experience in logistics, procurement, and vendor negotiations.
  • Basic understanding of fine household materials (fabrics, antiques, silverware, art care, etc.).
  • Knowledge in health and dietary management is a plus.
  • Must be a legally married couple with prior experience working together in similar roles.
  • Clean background checks and verified references.
  • Non-smokers; no dependents or pets.
  • High moral integrity, loyalty, and absolute discretion.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly and live-in.
