Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited EMT Paramedic or Patient Care Technician program preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; ACLS preferred.
• Previous experience in a hospital or emergency department setting is an advantage.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic patient care techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to RN or physician.
• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing.
• Assist with wound care and orthopedic procedures.
• Provide CPR and assist during emergency interventions.
