A global consultancy firm in Dubai is seeking a Contracts / Commercial Manager to oversee contractual financial and commercial aspects of a metro project. The position is full-time and requires candidates with GCC experience, especially in RTA projects.

Qualifications

We are currently inviting Expressions of Interest for the following roles as part of a confidential metro rolling stock consultancy bid project in Dubai. All positions are full-time UAE-based and require strong GCC experience with preference given to candidates with RTA project exposure.

About the Role:

The Contracts / Commercial Manager will be responsible for managing all contractual financial and commercial aspects of the project in line with FIDIC principles client expectations and Surbana Jurongs governance. This role plays a key part in risk management claims strategy and cost controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft review and negotiate consultancy and subcontract agreements
• Manage commercial reporting budgeting and forecasting activities
• Administer claims variations and contractual correspondence
• Ensure compliance with RTA and UAE contractual requirements
• Collaborate with legal technical and procurement teams to mitigate risk and ensure project profitability

Requirements:

• MSc/BSc in Engineering Quantity Surveying Law or Commercial Management
• Minimum 15 years experience in contracts and commercial roles on metro or infrastructure projects
• In-depth understanding of FIDIC forms of contract RTA contract frameworks and GCC regulations
• Excellent negotiation contract drafting and cost control skills
• Experience in leading commercial functions for complex multidisciplinary projects
