Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic emergency care team. The PA will provide highquality patientcentered medical care under the supervision of a licensed emergency medicine physician. The ideal candidate is experienced confident in clinical decisionmaking and capable of working effectively in a fastpaced highpressure environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments including historytaking physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Perform medical procedures such as suturing splinting intubation wound care and fracture reduction as required.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests imaging studies and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with emergency physicians.
  • Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with patients families and the healthcare team regarding patient status and treatment options.
  • Provide patient education on disease management injury prevention and followup care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and emergency department case reviews.
  • Maintain accurate thorough and timely documentation of all patient interactions and clinical activities.
