Job description
Summary

The Electrical Planner will be responsible for the comprehensive planning and preparation of assigned maintenance activities consisting of Electrical and Support-based tasks at the Nuclear Power Plant. Activities will involve developing detailed Maintenance Items with clearly defined scopes and resource needs (manpower materials tools and equipment). This information will be essential for generating work orders and scheduling activities to maximize operational safety efficiency and asset protection.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare Maintenance Items for Electrical and Support-based maintenance to ensure work is planned and managed for maximum safety operability and protection of plant assets including work performed by Long-Term Maintenance Strategy (LTMS) contractors.
  • Verify and review the Nuclear Power Plants Electrical equipment components and determinants to ensure accurate selection from the Master Equipment List and design drawings.
  • Coordinate with Engineering (ENG) Maintenance (MNT) Procurement (PSC) vendors schedulers and other relevant stakeholders to optimize understanding and ensure accuracy of Maintenance Items.
  • Review and construct as needed Electrical and Support Preventive Maintenance (PM) and other recurring Maintenance Items to ensure configuration control.
  • Oversee Electrical work planners in the development assembly and review of Maintenance Items including PM frequency to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Include the required parts and bills of materials for Maintenance Items; develop a Material Master for newly identified materials as necessary.
