Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Electrical Engineer - Interior Design to join our Billionaire engineering Client in. This role is critical in bridging the gap between architectural aesthetics and functional electrical systems within interior spaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and implementing electrical systems that meet both safety standards and design vision, ensuring seamless integration of lighting, power, and control systems in commercial, residential, and high‑end interior environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive electrical designs for interior spaces, including lighting layouts, power distribution, and control systems.
• Utilize electrical design simulation tools to model and analyze system performance, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance.
• Collaborate with interior designers and architects to align electrical solutions with aesthetic and functional design goals.
• Conduct site assessments and inspections to verify installation accuracy and identify potential issues.
• Troubleshoot electrical system failures and recommend corrective actions during design, installation, and commissioning phases.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
• Ensure all designs comply with local and international electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC, UAE Fire & Life Safety Regulations).
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Stay current with emerging technologies in smart lighting, IoT integration, and energy‑efficient systems.
• Participate in design reviews, client presentations, and project meetings to provide technical input and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 4–5 years of professional experience in electrical design, with a focus on interior or architectural projects.
• Proven expertise in electrical design simulation tools such as ETAP, AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP, or similar.
• Strong understanding of lighting design principles, including daylighting, task lighting, and ambient illumination.
• Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting electrical systems and resolving complex technical issues.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) and integrated design workflows.
• Knowledge of UAE and GCC electrical codes and regulations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
