Job summary

A leading Emirati construction company is seeking a Draftsman Electrical to prepare technical drawings for EHV Substations, Overhead Transmission Lines, and Underground Cable projects. Responsibilities include creating CAD drawings, updating revisions based on site feedback, and ensuring compliance with client and international standards. Candidates should possess a Diploma in Drafting/CAD Engineering with 3–5 years of relevant experience, particularly in the UAE or GCC region. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, and fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years drafting experience in substation projects, OHL, and UGC.
• Strong technical knowledge of IEC, DEWA, TRANSCO, and ADNOC standards.
• Good understanding of electrical layouts and civil drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare CAD drawings for substation layouts and equipment foundations.
• Draft OHL drawings, including tower spotting plans and foundation details.
• Update drawings per engineering revisions and client comments.
