Job Description

Inspiring and engaging. As a Duty Manager, you will show your leadership and interpersonal strengths to maximize the Rooms Operations, and ensure an exceptional guest journey.

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the Rooms departments and ensure all service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service
  • Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
  • Maximize rooms revenue through participating in yield management meetings and implementing supported agreed upon Revenue Management strategies and practices
  • Assist Front Office Manager monitors key performance indicators for the department and takes corrective action liaise with FO Manager .
  • Ensures all front Office documents & records are maintained as per operational/ organizational requirements.
  • Ensures all Front Office areas are neatly maintained at all times as per norms, hygiene, and efficiency, cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Optimizes the efficient usage of room inventory by monitoring, control and feedback to support the departments.
  • Responsible for the organization of work within the department including assignments, time schedules and vacations to ensure optimum utilization of manpower.
  • Train, guide & support the team in providing outstanding guest welcoming and experiences.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a front office leadership role within the hospitality industry
  • Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a guest-focused approach to creating memorable experiences
