Job Title - Document Controller

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to manage, track, and maintain all project documentation in accordance with established procedures and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Document Control & Management

  • Maintain, organize, and control all incoming and outgoing project documents.
  • Ensure documents are properly classified, filed, and stored in physical and digital formats.
  • Manage document numbering, version control, and revision tracking.

Coordination & Distribution

  • Distribute drawings, specifications, and correspondence to relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely document flow.
  • Track document submissions, approvals, and transmittals.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure all documents comply with company procedures and project standards.
  • Support QA/QC teams by maintaining quality-related records and logs.
  • Assist during audits by providing accurate and up-to-date documentation.

Reporting & Tracking

  • Maintain logs for drawings, RFIs, submittals, and approvals.
  • Generate periodic reports on document status and outstanding items.
  • Monitor deadlines and follow up on pending documents.

Project Support & Close-Out

  • Assist project teams with documentation required for project handover.
  • Ensure all records are complete, approved, and archived properly.
  • Support document close-out activities at project completion.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience as a Document Controller in construction projects.
  • Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
