Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CEMEA Issuing VAS Pismo Sales Lead. The ideal candidate will have significant experience within the financial services industry and be able to understand and navigate the unique challenges brought forward by issuing clients.

This role is part of the larger Value-Added Services Sales function with expected focus on the sale of services related to Pismo solutions in the market. Internally the role requires collaboration with a wide range of cross functional teams including but is not limited to Generalist Sellers Sales Operations Product Strategy Client Services Digital Partners and Marketing.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Leverage your expertise to identify and secure new clients fostering growth through the sale of Pismos payments and banking technology solutions.
  • Develop nurture and execute a robust pipeline of opportunities within key markets and segments ensuring a steady flow of potential business.
  • Work closely with regional leaders and partners to ensure comprehensive regional coverage and to drive revenue growth.
  • Deploy advanced sales methodologies to accelerate deal closures utilizing a value-based selling approach to convert pipeline opportunities efficiently.
  • Consistently meet booking and revenue targets demonstrating your ability to drive significant business results.
  • Cultivate partnerships with peers and senior leaders in various functional areas and across global teams to optimize business outcomes.
  • Operate effectively within a complex and competitive environment managing multiple initiatives and stakeholders to achieve commercial goals.
  • Apply strong financial knowledge to structure deals that maximize value and drive execution within the partner ecosystem.
  • Promote a collaborative environment with key cross-functional stakeholders ensuring alignment and shared goals.
  • Employ high-level problem-solving and project management skills to navigate challenges and deliver results.
Qualifications :
Technical Skills:
  • 10 or more years of work experience with payments and/or core banking solutions
  • Proven track record in driving new client acquisitions.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed booking and revenue targets.
  • Experience deploying a sales methodology to accelerate deal closure through a value-based selling approach.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with peers & seniors in other functional areas and across global regional teams.
  • Ability to work independently within a complex and competitive environment and manage multiple initiatives.
  • Strong financial acumen related to deal structures and value to execution to the partner ecosystem.
  • Experience managing multiple internal stakeholders to deliver commercial goals.
  • Ability to drive a collaborative culture with key cross-functional stakeholders.
  • High level of problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to travel regionally if required.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Understanding of Pismo or its competitors solutions;
  • Pre-established relationships with some of the main financial institutions and BIN Sponsors in the Middle East and Sub-Saharan Africa;
Additional Information :
  • Flexible working hours are expected as the candidate would need to attend/organize calls with other time zones including other markets in CISSSEE/Middle East/Africa as well as with global team in San Francisco
