Job summary

A leading technology service provider is looking for a DevOps/Cloud Engineer in Dubai. The successful candidate will design and manage cloud-native infrastructure, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and implement cloud security automation. Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP is required along with hands-on experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD tools. This role demands excellent scripting skills and an understanding of cloud security best practices, ideal for those with 3 to 6 years of experience.

Qualifications

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage cloud-native infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP/On Prem).
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support rapid release cycles.
• Prepare Bills of Materials / Cost Estimations to support customer decision and planning for Self Hosted Hosting models.
• Set up and maintain monitoring & alerting frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, etc.).
• Drive cloud security automation (IAM, SSL, secrets management).
• Partner with engineering teams to embed DevOps into SDLC.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive incident response.
• Support and manage cloud environments.
• Prepare network architecture diagrams and low level designs for clients based on deployment strategies.
• Prepare DC to DC designs for clients based for various cloud service provides and on-prem set ups.

Required Qualifications

• 3–6 years experience as DevOps/Cloud Engineer in SaaS or enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins).
• Proficient in Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash).
• Experience with monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
• Strong grasp of cloud security best practices.
