Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and empathetic developmental-behavioral pediatrician to join our team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric care, with a particular interest and expertise in identifying and treating developmental and behavioral issues in children. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside other skilled professionals and make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of children with developmental and behavioral concerns, including developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and other related conditions.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans and provide ongoing management and follow-up care for patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (e.g., therapists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists) to provide comprehensive care and support for patients.
  • Educate and counsel families on the management and treatment of developmental and behavioral concerns, including providing guidance on developmental milestones, behavior management strategies, and resources for support.
  • Stay current on the latest research, treatments, and technology related to developmental and behavioral pediatrics.
  • Attend meetings, conferences, and other professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Residency training in pediatrics, with a fellowship in developmental-behavioral pediatrics preferred.
  • Valid license to practice medicine in Saudi Arabia.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in developmental and behavioral pediatrics.
  • Strong understanding of child development, behavioral psychology, and psychiatric disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively work with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Willingness to work with a diverse patient population with varying cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Passion for helping children and families and making a positive impact in their lives.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
