About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Development and Training Manager to lead our newly established training center in Sharjah. This is an exciting opportunity to build and shape a training organization from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of the UAE training and development market, strong business acumen, and proven expertise in curriculum design, training delivery, and center operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Market Development

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business strategies to establish the training center's presence in Sharjah and the broader UAE market
  • Conduct market research to identify training needs, emerging trends, and competitor activities in the region
  • Build strategic partnerships with corporate clients, government entities, educational institutions, and industry associations
  • Design competitive pricing models and service packages aligned with market demands
  • Establish the center's brand positioning and unique value proposition

Training Program Development

  • Design, develop, and oversee a diverse portfolio of training programs across professional development, technical skills, soft skills, and industry-specific certifications
  • Ensure all training content meets international quality standards and aligns with UAE market requirements
  • Develop accreditation strategies and pursue relevant certifications (e.g., KHDA approval, industry certifications)
  • Establish quality assurance frameworks for all training programs

Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the training center including facilities, equipment, technology infrastructure, and administrative functions
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of trainers, coordinators, and support staff
  • Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness
  • Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, SPEA requirements

Client Relationship Management

  • Identify and acquire new corporate and individual clients through networking, presentations, and consultative selling
  • Conduct training needs assessments for corporate clients and customize solutions accordingly
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and ensure high satisfaction and retention rates
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements with B2B and B2C clients

Performance Monitoring & Improvement

  • Establish KPIs and metrics to measure training effectiveness, participant satisfaction, and business performance
  • Implement feedback mechanisms and continuously improve program quality based on evaluations
  • Prepare regular reports on center performance, enrollment trends, and revenue generation
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and integrate innovations into training delivery

Skills

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or related field

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in training management, L&D, or training center operations
  • Proven experience in the UAE training market with understanding of Sharjah/Northern Emirates business landscape
  • Demonstrated success in launching new training initiatives or managing training centers
  • Experience with both B2B corporate training and B2C public programs
  • Track record of achieving business targets and revenue goals
