Role Overview — Delivery Manager
The Delivery Manager plays a mission‑critical role in ensuring the predictable, high‑quality delivery of Qashio’s technology initiatives. This role is accountable for driving execution excellence across cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Product, and QA, ensuring that software is delivered efficiently, meets business objectives, and supports the company’s growth strategy.
Acting as the operational heartbeat of the tech organization, the Delivery Manager balances speed with stability, removes friction from delivery pipelines, and fosters a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end‑to‑end delivery of technology initiatives, ensuring products are launched on time, within scope, and aligned with quality standards.
- Establish clear delivery frameworks, including planning models, resource forecasting, dependency management, and execution governance.
- Partner closely with the Head of Product to refine and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring sprint commitments align with strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with the CTO and engineering leadership to drive predictable delivery cadence and operational excellence.
- Create transparency for senior leadership by setting realistic expectations, reporting on progress, and providing data‑driven insights on delivery performance.
- Identify delivery risks early, implement mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve blockers to maintain momentum.
- Champion Agile ways of working while pragmatically evolving processes to suit team maturity and business needs.
- Lead Agile ceremonies where required and coach teams toward greater autonomy, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Optimize delivery workflows through automation, Lean practices, and scalable operational processes.
- Establish and track delivery KPIs (velocity, cycle time, release predictability, defect rates) to continuously improve performance.
- Strengthen cross‑functional collaboration, ensuring alignment between Product, Engineering, QA, and business stakeholders.
- Foster a high‑trust environment that encourages ownership, knowledge sharing, and outcome‑focused execution.
- Continuously evaluate delivery processes, introducing best practices that enhance speed without compromising quality.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Delivery Management, Technical Program Management, or Software Project Leadership within a fast‑paced technology environment.
- Demonstrated success in owning complex software delivery across multiple teams.
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, scaled models) with the ability to apply them pragmatically.
- Strong operational mindset with experience implementing delivery metrics and performance frameworks.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and align technical execution with business priorities.
- Hands‑on experience with delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira, Linear, or Asana.
- Experience leading distributed or cross‑functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- FinTech experience is advantageous but not essential.
