Black Pearl is seeking a Data Researcher / Research Analyst – Automotive R&D to support product development, innovation, and technology strategy. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about automotive technologies and data‑driven research.

Key Responsibilities
Market & Industry Research
  • Conduct research on global and regional automotive markets and technologies.
  • Analyze consumer trends, sustainability shifts, regulatory updates, and EV/ADAS developments.
  • Benchmark competitor products, pricing, and innovation pipelines.
Product Development & R&D Support
  • Provide insights to guide product concept creation and engineering decisions.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to assess feasibility and emerging technologies.
  • Support R&D roadmaps by identifying materials, powertrains, and digital solutions.
  • Assist in prototype evaluations and user feedback analysis.
Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Analyze datasets to identify patterns and business opportunities.
  • Build dashboards and maintain research databases.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for leadership and cross‑functional teams.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Work with Engineering, Product, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams.
  • Participate in ideation and design sessions with evidence‑based recommendations.
Operational Excellence
  • Maintain organized documentation of research and benchmarking studies.
  • Stay updated on automotive technologies, standards, and industry regulations.
  • Support the R&D Manager in day‑to‑day tasks and strategic projects.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Electrical/Electronic, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
