Job summary

A global leader in metal flow engineering seeks a Customer Service Executive for Logistics in Ras Al Khaimah. The successful candidate will manage cross-border shipments, finalize documentation, coach staff, and negotiate freight costs, ensuring top-notch customer service. This role is crucial for maintaining compliance with customs regulations and supporting both sales and customer needs. Candidates should have experience in logistics and customs procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Track and monitor cross-border activities of Shipment.
  • Finalize Letter of Credit, Prepare Tender BID & Performance Bond.
  • Prepare bill of lading Invoices, Packing List & Certificate of Origin.
  • Well versed in RAK Custom Formalities.
  • Train and coach staff on shipping transactions.
  • Led the team in developing systems to minimize loss and maximize performance.
  • Negotiate freight cost via Sea, Air and Road shipment.
  • Evaluate supplier’s performance and flexibility.
  • Prepare Tender documents, Quotation and Purchase order.
  • Maintain high Customer service standards.
  • Entertain after sales complaints and investigate charges.
  • Supervise External Inspector and prepare required documents.
  • Use different Incoterms to track the shipment.
  • Support sales and customer service.

Our Client, a European Multinational Company and a global leader in metal flow engineering is looking to hire Customer Service executive - Logistics for Ras Al Khaimah location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track and monitor cross-border activities of Shipment.
  • Finalize Letter of Credit, Prepare Tender BID & Performance Bond and coordinate with the Bank Responsible of the Client for MENA Region, Europe and Asia.
  • Prepare bill of lading Invoices, Packing List & Certificate of Origin.
  • Well verse in RAK Custom Formalities and other Emirates Check contracts are in line with the company policy and custom guidelines.
  • Train and coach staff to understand the end-to-end procedure of shipping transaction.
  • Led the team in developing effective systems to minimize loss and maximize performance.
  • Negotiate freight cost to meet the target rate via Sea, Air and Road shipment.
  • Evaluate supplier’s performance and flexibility.
  • Prepare Tender documents, Quotation and Purchase order,
  • Maintain the highest standard of Customer service for Client satisfaction Submit weekly summary report to the Sales Team, Finance Controller and Managing Director.
  • Entertain after sales complain as well as investigate demurrage charges and claim.
  • Supervise External Inspector and prepare documents required.
  • Using different Incoterms to track the shipment.
  • Play an important role as sales and customer support.
