Job summary

A luxury hotel chain in Ras al-Khaimah is seeking a Credit Manager to ensure timely credit collections and manage the credit team. Key responsibilities include monitoring credit limits, administering credit processes, and preparing monthly financial adjustments. Candidates must have a Bachelor in Finance or a related field and 2-3 years of experience in a 4-5 star hotel environment. Responsibilities

  • Ensure the timely credit collections of all outstanding payments.
  • Manage credit meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor credit limits of all outstanding accounts.
  • Administer credit processes and policies for other departments in the hotel.
  • Work with the Finance Manager to build effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all charges and credits to the various accounts.
  • Follow up on all overdue accounts and send to debt collectors, as required.
  • Manage all account queries and disputes.
  • Maintain good communication and working relationships with all hotel areas and other homeworkers.
  • Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations.
  • Serve your role and Team in an environmentally-conscience manner.
  • Processing payments received.
  • Prepare and post any monthly closing adjustments.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by the Director of Finance.

Leading Credit Management Team

Utilizes interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocates sound financial / business decision making; demonstrates honesty / integrity; leads by example.

  • Staffs, manages and develops all billing and accounts receivable employees.
  • Maintaining Finance and Accounting Goals
  • Submits reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines.
  • Ensures profits and losses are documented accurately.
  • Achieves and exceeds goals including performance goals, budget goals, team goals, etc.
  • Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
  • Monitors all taxes that apply, ensuring that taxes are current, collected and / or accrued.
  • Ensures property billings are sent error free and in a timely manner.
  • Monitors receivables for timely collections and follows up with appropriate collection correspondence.
Qualifications

Bachelor in Finance or degree in vocational hospitality, 2-3 years experience in 4-5 star Hotel.
