About the Role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail‑oriented Cost Control Manager to join our construction project team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust cost control systems, ensuring projects are delivered within budget, and providing key financial insights to support strategic decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement effective project cost control systems, budget frameworks, and tracking mechanisms.
  • Monitor and analyze project commitments, actual expenditures, cost trends, and forecasts against baseline budgets.
  • Coordinate closely with Quantity Surveyors (QS), Planning, Procurement, and Finance teams to ensure integrated cost and schedule management.
  • Prepare and present detailed cost variance reports, financial dashboards, and progress updates to senior management.
  • Perform accurate cost analysis, identify potential risks or overruns, and propose corrective actions.
  • Support management in decision‑making through timely and reliable financial data and scenario analysis.
  • Review and validate subcontractor and supplier invoices, change orders, and payment certificates.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and project contractual requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in cost control, specifically within construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Professional certification in cost control (e.g., AACE – CCP/CCC, RICS, or equivalent) is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in cost control software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, Excel advanced functions, ERP systems).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
Salary:

AED 22,000 – AED 25,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications).
