Responsibilities
  • Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with standardized recipes and quality guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in menu development and ingredient sourcing, ensuring seasonal and cost‑effective use of ingredients.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to prevent shortages and reduce waste.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques, hygiene practices, and kitchen protocols.
  • Adhere to food safety standards and ensure all food handling practices meet local health code requirements.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen supervisor and management to meet service demands during peak hours.
  • Respond promptly to feedback and adjust cooking methods to maintain consistency and quality.
Requirements
  • 1–3 years of proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant or food service setting.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and food safety practices (HACCP or equivalent certification is a plus).
  • Proficiency in preparing a diverse range of cuisines, with emphasis on speed, precision, and presentation.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with strong communication and leadership abilities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
