Job description
Synopsis

As a Contracts officer, you will be working with thin Technical Contracts & Performance team. You are responsible to perform, coordinate and execute sourcing and procurement activities of medium complexity and address non-standard tasks according to established purchasing policies and procedures to ensure sourcing and contract execution and management are executed in Etihad’s best interest.

Accountabilities
  • Perform, coordinate and execute sourcing activities of medium complexity according to established purchasing policies and procedures to ensure purchasing activities are executed in Etihad’s best interest.
  • Negotiate with recurrent suppliers to improve service and quality levels and ensure contracts within assigned portfolio deliver full life value for money according to Etihad strategy and guidelines
  • Organize and develop RFP and RFQ documentations according to established policies and procedure to ensure Etihad’s requirement are captured effectively
  • Liaise and coordinate with Etihad’s suppliers by collecting and providing all required information, to ensure contractual terms and conditions are met.
  • Solicit and analyse proposals and monitor contract terms and conditions, to adequately plan and deliver contracts and amendments in a timely and effective manner to serve Etihad’s best interest.
  • Monitor and analyse new products and suppliers in the market place to suggest new initiatives to increase cost efficiency
  • Monitor, review and correct information and data on the relevant systems, to ensure accuracy and timely update.
  • Collect and analyse data to ensure continuous tracking of relevant KPIs and achieved targets.
  • Support contract management activities, including the issuance of POs.
Education & Experience
  • Minimum Diploma (2 years or more).
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience within relevant field.
  • Ability to Support the contracts managers, including contract management and preparation of POs in accordance with the contract.
  • Excellent Communication skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
