  • Negotiate and manage contractors’ claims effectively.
  • Supervise payment processes and certifications.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and manage agreements.
  • Administer the variations order process and provide reporting.
Job description
Contract Administration and Claims Management
  • Administer all project contracts, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and compliance with agreed terms.
  • Review, evaluate, and negotiate contractors’ claims relating to time extensions, prolongation, and disruption.
  • Identify, monitor, and assess risks and potential claims across the project, providing advice on possible commercial exposures.
  • Prepare contractual correspondence, including notices and letters, in accordance with FIDIC standards to safeguard the Employer’s interests.
Payments and Valuations
  • Supervise monthly valuations and the preparation of Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs).
  • Ensure timely and accurate certification and release of payments as per contractual provisions.
  • Lead discussions and settlement of final accounts with contractors and subcontractors.
Subcontract Administration
  • Review and manage subcontract agreements to ensure consistency with the main contract.
  • Collaborate with project teams to monitor subcontractor progress, performance, and payment schedules.
  • Track the contractor’s payment process to ensure timely disbursements to subcontractors and suppliers, minimizing risks of delay or suspension.
Change Management
  • Administer the complete variation order process, including technical and financial assessments through to final approval.
  • Verify that all variation and claim submissions are adequately supported by drawings, BOQs, or formal instructions.
  • Record and issue notifications for any unauthorized works to protect the Employer from future financial or contractual liabilities.
Reporting
  • Maintain comprehensive records of contracts, amendments, correspondence, and related documentation
