🧬 Role Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant Hematologist with expertise in benign hematological disorders to join a leading healthcare institution in Dubai. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic services, contribute to multidisciplinary care, and support clinical governance and education initiatives.

🔍 Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and manage benign hematological conditions, including anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, bleeding disorders, and hemoglobinopathies.
  • Interpret bone marrow biopsies, peripheral blood smears, and hematological lab investigations.
  • Collaborate with internal medicine, oncology, and transfusion services for integrated patient care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
  • Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice.
  • Engage in teaching and mentoring junior doctors and allied health professionals.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree
  • Completion of specialist training in Hematology (e.g., CCT, FRCP, FRCPath, American Board, or equivalent)
  • Minimum 5 years post-specialization experience in benign hematology
  • DHA eligibility or licensure preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is an asset
