Job summary

A leading recruitment and HR firm in Dubai is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to manage the construction of potable water pipelines. The role involves leading a construction team in HDPE and Ductile Iron pipeline installations, ensuring compliance with building codes, and managing procurement activities. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, 12 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with project scheduling tools. A Professional Engineering License or PMP certification is preferred.

• Potable water pipelines network experience.
• Lead the construction team in the execution of HDPE & DI pipeline installation including preparation assembly and testing of pipelines.
• Ensure that construction work is performed safely on schedule and in compliance with all local codes and regulations.
• Coordinate with engineering and design teams to ensure the implementation of design specifications.
• Manage the procurement of materials equipment and labor resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
• 12 years of experience in construction field.
• Professional Engineering License or PMP certification is a plus
• Proven experience in managing potable water pipelines networks is essential
• Hands‑on experience with HDPE & Ductile Iron (DI) pipeline installation including preparation assembly and pressure testing
• Strong background in managing large‑scale construction teams and subcontractors
• In‑depth knowledge of construction methods, local building codes and regulatory compliance
• Familiarity with project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Strong understanding of procurement processes for construction materials, equipment and labor
• Ability to interpret and implement engineering drawings, specifications and technical documents
