Job Summary
To lead, manage, and supervise all phases of construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to Dubai regulations, technical standards, timelines, budgets, and quality requirements. The role is responsible for coordinating with authorities, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full life cycle of construction projects from planning to handover.
- Develop and implement construction strategies, schedules, and resource plans.
- Lead project teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination among all stakeholders.
- Manage all project-related submissions, permits, and approvals with:
- Nakheel
- Trakheesi
- DDA
- DLD
- Dubai Municipality and other authorities
- Ensure compliance with the Dubai Building Code and relevant UAE construction regulations.
- Review and validate design drawings, engineering calculations, structural reports, and shop drawings.
- Conduct technical assessments to identify potential risks or conflicts.
- Ensure that construction methods, materials, and technologies meet project specifications and standards.
- Monitor daily construction activities to ensure adherence to approved plans and timelines.
- Implement quality control procedures and ensure conformity with project requirements.
- Identify and resolve technical or on-site issues promptly.
- Select, evaluate, and supervise subcontractors across all project disciplines.
- Coordinate procurement activities with suppliers, both UAE-based and international.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and compliance with specifications.
- Monitor project budgets, expenditures, and cash flow.
- Conduct value engineering exercises to optimize project costs.
- Review design options to reduce material quantities, improve efficiency, and optimize structural loads.
- Develop, track, and adjust project schedules to align with milestones and contractual timelines.
- Proactively manage delays and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare progress reports, technical evaluations, and risk assessments for management.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including logs, approval records, and compliance reports.
- Ensure all construction activities adhere to UAE HSE standards.
- Promote a safety‑first culture on site and enforce safety regulations.
- Ensure successful project completion, testing, commissioning, and final handover to clients or facility managers.
- Oversee resolution of outstanding issues, defect lists, and final inspections.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 successfully completed projects in Dubai under a G+Unlimited general contracting license.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Valid Dubai Municipality Engineer Certificate Card with G+Unlimited license.
- Familiarity with construction documentation, permitting, and compliance processes.
