Black & Grey HR is hiring for a well-established investment and asset management group with a growing portfolio of community malls and retail developments across the UAE. Our client is looking for a Community Mall Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the management, operations, and commercial performance of a portfolio of community malls and retail assets. The role will focus on driving operational efficiency, leasing performance, tenant relationships, and supporting new retail developments from concept to launch.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of community malls, ensuring smooth functioning and a high-quality tenant and customer experience.
- Develop and manage budgets, leasing rates, and performance KPIs to meet financial and operational objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, acting as the primary point of contact for operational and commercial matters.
- Lead leasing activities by securing new tenants and negotiating commercially viable lease agreements.
- Work closely with development and project teams on new mall developments, providing input on design, feasibility, and operational planning.
- Support tenanting strategies for upcoming retail projects and new mall launches.
- Develop and implement tenant acquisition and retention strategies aligned with market demand and community requirements.
- Monitor retail market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Coordinate with marketing, operations, and facilities teams to ensure seamless execution of mall initiatives and campaigns.
- Prepare and present performance reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Property Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in mall management, retail real estate, or mixed‑use asset management.
- Proven track record in leasing, tenant negotiations, and operational management of retail assets.
- Strong understanding of community mall dynamics, retail leasing structures, and market trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property/lease management systems.
