As a Commercial Analyst

You will help guide the sales property team in improving processes, services, products, and software through analysis. You will share a continuous focus on growth with the business leaders and will be co‑responsible for building out the dubizzle/Bayut brand.

In this role, you will:
  • Owning the process to set targets for the sales team and measure achievements to calculate sales commissions Tracking - in month performance
  • Monitor and analyze competitive business models and provide recommendations to strengthen our position
  • Create dashboards on competition performance to enhance the business performance
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional partners in product, engineering, operations, finance, and marketing to help develop data‑informed business strategies and roadmaps
  • Extract data and share it with stakeholders using Dashboards/Reports or Google Sheets
  • Work closely with product managers to enhance the product offerings and experiment with pricing and new products.
  • Enhance the CRM tool by incorporating business needs and product requirements
  • Manage self‑service tools for end‑users across the company to explore a wide variety of data with little assistance
  • Present models, findings and insights to senior management in order to drive business decisions
  • Provide objective recommendations on business strategy, monetization, and operation
  • Create the documentation and presentation for the management
  • Partner with finance team in developing budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc analyses that are informed by data‑driven insights and operating metrics
  • Be the point of contact between the Central Data Team and Sales, while spend most of the time on the sales floor, perare sales aid kits and presentations
  • Manage and own the P&L of the online property
  • Directly Support and work with the VP of Property Sales with a management consulting approach

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, statistics Master is a plus
  • 3 - 5 years of work experience in strategy / business analytics / sales enabler role, having closely worked with product in an internet/e-commerce company
  • Experience in e-commerce, internet and/or digital media
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledgeable in SQL
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Skills in Python, R or similar tools are a big plus
  • Ability to crunch heavy data, build insights and drive operational decision making
  • Excellent analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to translate data and information into actionable insights and business recommendations
  • Exceptional project management skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
